Mr. Silverman is an associate at Singh, Singh & Trauben, LLP, where he delivers a wide spectrum of legal services in music, film, television, and new media. As part of his transactional practice, Mr. Silverman negotiates and prepares deals that regularly encompass music licensing, sponsorships, production, publishing, management and recording agreements, as well financing, shopping, literary option, writer, actor, and related agreements in the realm of film and TV. Beyond his entertainment focus, Mr. Silverman also advises various companies, investors, and entrepreneurs in connection with a variety of business transactions, and assists with the formation, planning, and organization of new business entities.
Having previously worked in the music industry for over six years prior to his legal career, both as an artist and business owner, Mr. Silverman is able to utilize his insight from the music business towards counseling his clients and ensuring their unique interests are furthered when negotiating, drafting, and reviewing their contracts.
